Hello, I’m Fred.

In addition to a career in IT, I also study philosophy and ethics. Plant-based cooking, gardening, home improvement, and web development are among my favorite hobbies.

I am an ordained practitioner in the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava tradition of Hinduism, having dedicated five years to the monastic life as a brahmacārī. Following my time in the monastery, I married an ordained Baptist, J. Dana Trent, and our multifaith relationship revolves around an ongoing theological synthesis culminating in shared practices and devotion. We enjoy traveling, long walks, and people-watching, all while our cats wait patiently for more attention.
